Day1
Antananarivo-Antsirabe ( 170km-4h)– Miandrivazo( 220km-5hrs)
After breakfast with our english speaking driver/guide and go to Antsirabe through the typical landscape of the highland. Stop for lunch then we leave little by little the highlands and cross the desert region of the West to join Miandrivazo on the Tsiribihina river. Overnight in hotel.
Day 2
Miandrivazo – local boat trip along the Tsiribihina River
Starting the adventure trip with local motor boat along the river. You’ll see many kinds of birds like different sorts of heron, wild duck, parrots, raptors, kingfishers, chameleon, insects at the side of the river.
People and village, fishers, beautiful scenery and landscape. Lunch on the river bank, The guide will make you discover also the tourism through the food because he’ll prepare for you local food like chicken, meat of zebu, fish with vegetables. Overnight in tent on a sand bank ( equipment and meals provided).
Day 3
Gorge of the Tsiribihina River and swim at the Waterfall
swim in a natural swimming pool under the best waterfall of Madagascar, walk to visit a Sakalava traditional village Overnight in tent.
Day 4
Belo sur Tsiribihina
Continuation after the breakfast to see the landscape of tobacco-culture. End of the river trip at the beginning of the afternoon. Meet by our driver and 4×4 wd vehicle and continuation till Bekopaka. Overnight in hotel.
Day 5
Bekopaka
After breakfast, morning visit of caves, stalactites and stalagmites, the famous tomb of the vazimba tribe who lived in the “Tsingy” in the 17th century. In the afternoon, visit of the small Tsingy : labyrinth of limestones, points of view on the “Tsingy”, we can meet with lemurs, birds.
Bekopaka : the Tsingy of Bemaraha, which is classified as one of the world wonders by UNESCO, fascinating limestones with sharp pinnacle formation.
Day 6
Bekopaka
This day will is for people having good physical condition : visit the big Tsingy, 30meters high cracks, forest’s canyons where lives lemurs and various flora , cathedral of rocks, point of view on the hightest roof of the big Tsingy. Overnight in hotel.
Day 7
Bekopaka-Kirindy
Day long drive till Kirindy reserve to meet other different kind of lemurs like Coquerel sifaka. Nocturnal visit of the Kirindy reserve to spot the famous predator fosa, the giant jumping rats . Overnight at hotel.
Day 8
Kirindy- Morondava
Morning visit of Kirindy reserve, then drive back to Morondava, . Stop to see the baobab lover and enjoy the sunset at baobab avenue. Overnight in hotel.
Day 9
Morondava
Day spent at the beach; visit mangrove by local pirogue and visit a fishermen village . Seafood picnic lunch and relax at the beach. Overnight in hotel.
Day 10
Morondava -Antananarivo
